Manama, Jan. 9 (BNA): Shura Council Speaker Ali bin Saleh Al-Saleh praised the orders of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to spend an additional month of financial support for people with limited incomes. Families for the month of January 2023, suspending industrial land fees for food storage facilities for a period of three months, suspending approvals and fees required by the Ministry of Industry and Trade for supermarkets to conduct promotional campaigns for a period of three months and increasing monitoring and inspection of local market prices.
Al-Saleh praised these orders, stressing that they reflect the keenness of His Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister to enhance the welfare of citizens and implement the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to continuously improve the living conditions of citizens and meet their needs.
The Speaker of the Shura Council praised the generous initiative of His Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister to support low-income families in facing the effects of rising prices globally. He also praised the directives to support the food sector and ensure the necessary food security for Bahraini families, especially with the approaching holy month of Ramadan.
