Shaikha Hayat bint Abdulaziz appointed IOC’s Gender Equality Commission member

Manama, Jan. 22 (BNA): Member of the Board of Directors of the Bahrain Olympic Committee and President of the Bahrain Table Tennis Federation, Shaikha Hayat bint Abdulaziz Al Khalifa, received a message from the President of the International Olympiad. Committee (IOC), in connection with her appointment as a member of the Gender Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Committee, which confirms the status of Bahraini competencies at the international and regional levels.

Sheikha Hayat expressed her deep pride in her appointment as a member of the International Olympic Committee, and praised the efforts of the President of the International Olympic Committee to develop the work of the International Olympic Committee and its specialized committees.

She stressed that she would spare no effort in achieving the goals of the Gender Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Committee, in coordination with the National Olympic Committees and international sports federations.

Sheikha Hayat bint Abdulaziz Al Khalifa has been appointed to her position in recognition of her dedicated efforts within the International Olympic Committee.
