In order to continue our market leadership position, there is an exciting high-profile opportunity to join the growing EMEA team of Center of Excellence as an EPM Engineer or Specialist. This team focuses on ensuring that our customers understand the benefits of their investments in Oracle EPM Cloud. You will join a high-performance team of experts who provide the best solutions across a range of our high-profile clients across multiple industries and geographies.
The role will have a primary focus on the Middle East region, but may extend to supporting activities in support of the broader EMEA region.
An EPM engineer or specialist is responsible for designing, developing, and supporting business solutions utilizing the latest releases of Oracle EPM Cloud. This covers all areas of the EPM portfolio including financial closing, planning and forecasting.
Works on customer billable consulting and pre-sales assignments to lead solution development
Works with sales and delivery to ensure solutions are salable and deliverable
Work with the broader Oracle EPM Consulting teams to ensure delivery excellence through mentorship and inculcation of best practices across all of our projects.
We are looking for architects and professionals who are able to lead the development of compelling solutions with clients regarding EPM’s cloud strategies, architectures, and roadmaps.
Determine the appropriate solution architecture based on the functional requirements and design elements contained in the system specification.
Define implementation roadmap and produce project estimates with project managers
Contribute to high-level planning and implementation methodology for the project.
Take the lead in understanding new products (integration, new features, cost of projects).
Analyze software requirements and determine solution parameters and specifications.
Hold formal workshops with the client to agree on the design of the solution, and display knowledge of the business environment in defining the client’s needs
Lead the job design process. Facilitate interactive design workshops.
– Department of fact-finding, analysis and development of projects.
– Evaluate the business and technical effects of the solutions.

Education/Qualifications: University degree in Finance.
10+ years of demonstrable experience with EPM solutions in a consulting firm or client including business process analysis, systems analysis and design, and technical/functional solution delivery
Strong awareness of some or more EPM application products available in the market.
Knowledge of Oracle Hyperion and Oracle EPM Cloud solution is desirable but not necessary
Detailed functional knowledge of key business processes and associated functions in the EPM area
Experience in interacting with third-party resources, including Oracle partners and external teams
Proven leadership in management, governance and oversight of internal teams, third party integrators, consultants and suppliers through various initiatives
Strong awareness of the differences between cloud and on-premises solutions and their benefits
Ability to plan and facilitate design sessions. Able to influence the direction of the senior management group in/out of design sessions.
Able to envision a large scale solution across multiple business processes.
