The Marketing Team at EG is seeking an innovative, bilingual (English and Arabic), goal oriented and highly analytical Marketing Manager to join the team and deliver the best possible shopping experience to our customers.

This role involves a high degree of complexity, financial risk and responsibility. The role will work across many different teams (retail, product, finance, within marketing) leading high-risk, high-volume projects during peak weeks. The role is responsible for bringing innovation, planning, operational excellence and growth to our biggest shopping days and across multiple initiatives throughout the year. This role requires a strong analytical understanding, the ability to dig into data, and the ability to deliver coherent marketing and business presentations across multiple events during the year. You will prepare and contribute to reverse document work, present to the senior leadership team, and work with global teams. You will help create measurable best practices to grow the program towards goals, prepare scalable processes and develop ways for automation to improve overall efficiency.

The successful candidate will be a self-starter comfortable with ambiguity, keen attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. This role requires an individual with strong marketing, business and financial acumen. You must be comfortable working at the planning level and delving into implementation as needed (managing initiatives, writing business requirements, analyzing data).

Main responsibilities
• Responsible for marketing and program management for oversold events and customer engagement in Egypt, including long-term planning and event program strategy development
• Partner with internal brands and digital marketing teams to plan, develop, implement and analyze marketing campaigns across online and offline channels.
• Owning and developing a high level of customer experience for all events in the organization
• Develop go-to-market strategies including key proposals and architectures for customer events
• Develop and implement new ideas to drive engagement goals
• Liaise with senior internal stakeholders to develop timely inputs and preparation processes across other functions of the organization to maintain a high level of quality implementation
• Compile, analyze and present performance measures and propose action plans
• Dive in depth, identify customer segments, usage insights, and full funnel analysis of Lead lifecycle marketing strategies, including early setup, sustainable use, and take back and take back programs that deliver lasting impact across the Amazon ecosystem
• Design and implement cross-channel marketing initiatives that drive adoption of new shopping behaviors and lead to repeat purchase
• Owning campaigns targeting, segmentation, messaging, content, design and planning. You will build and implement campaigns, and report on individual campaign results and the direction of the bigger picture
Partnering with product and software managers to develop automated customer group and lifecycle marketing tools and programs to improve personalization, messaging strategies, and offerings (on and off device)

Basic qualifications
• Proven experience (+9 years) in program management and digital marketing in the e-commerce sector.
• Strong analytical background and attention to detail with the ability to use data to measure performance and identify improvements
• Strong and persuasive verbal and written communication skills (English and Arabic), including with senior leaders
• Obsessive customer, always curious about what the customer likes and wants
• Strong organizational, managerial and communication skills, with a proven ability to handle multiple projects and achieve results.
• Strong analytical ability and strong understanding of success metrics.
• The ability to think strategically and tactically.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams
• University degree in business, economics, marketing or any other related field of study.

qualifications preferred
• Experience in marketing or customer experience roles that require data analysis, process improvements, creative problem solving and cross-functional collaboration
• Advanced skills in Excel
• Experience driving multi-faceted campaigns through touchpoints
• Ability to quantitatively analyze data and use customer research, data, and metrics to support assumptions, identify opportunities, and evaluate campaign effectiveness
• Experience creating and/or improving operational processes across teams/stakeholders
