The primary function of the Senior Commercial Manager is to take full responsibility for the successful commercial and financial performance of all projects within this highly successful and award-winning professional organisation. This role therefore provides a vital link between proposals, project delivery and financing and constantly interacts with these teams to ensure all day-to-day activities are monitored, reviewed and delivered on time with maximum efficiency and profit.
By reporting to the senior management team and working exceptionally closely with the managing partner within the architectural organization, the successful candidate will be instrumental in developing commercial strategies and contract negotiations with all clients. Therefore, you will be involved in discussions and feasibility studies at the initial stage until project delivery, completion and handover. Strong stakeholder management and excellent communication skills are required in order to ensure that all parties have a clear view of their overall objectives and contractual obligations. In addition, you will implement best business practices in order to mitigate risks and maximize value for the company. Thus, a successful individual will drive business consistency across all departments and projects on an ongoing basis and will continually identify improvements to policies, procedures, and processes.
By collaborating with the bidding team, you will be a highly influential individual in order to assist in contract negotiations and provide highly valuable input regarding fee estimates, fee rates, scope gaps and commercial terms. The Senior Commercial Director is therefore expected to have a high level of business acumen from within the construction and architecture industry. These core criteria will also assist the successful candidate to carry out and finalize monitoring processes for all projects within the areas of funding, resources, timelines and milestones. Throughout the project handover, you will collaborate with project managers to monitor and identify any gaps, create proposals for customer changes and track and monitor CPAs (contract price adjustments); Again, act as the primary link between project delivery, financing and client negotiations.
salary:
40,000 to 50,000 dirhams per month, including fixed allowances.

People with experience in QS are in high demand, along with excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities, ability to be multi-form and have a keen eye for detail in terms of minimizing risk, monitoring profits and losses and maximizing revenue.
