Working closely with the EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) team for a creative agency with presence in both the Middle East and the United Kingdom, you will be fully responsible for all commercial activities across the region and report to the Global Finance Director, based in London. This is a highly dynamic and operational role that encompasses all business, strategic partnership, stakeholder management, operational activities, strong project acumen and overall business development in the Middle East region.
The successful individual is required to be exceptionally customer and supplier facing and supports the local GM & MD in business development meetings to prepare, review and analyze client expectations and budgets, forecast and monitor total costs of high profile projects, ensure maximum profitability of the company and spearhead commercial requirements associated with new business activities. So you will also identify new revenue generating opportunities through your broad business acumen and knowledge of the creative agency industry. There is a particular focus on the market in Saudi Arabia and the role will also require those who have the flexibility to travel regularly between Saudi Arabia and the UAE.
During any given project, the Senior Commercial Manager will be responsible for developing and monitoring budgets, working in liaison with clients to ensure this is regularly evaluated. Providing clear and concise financial, market and business information to enable the regional business unit to continuously develop is a key function of this role. It will also include developing and managing strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders with suppliers to ensure operational compliance, high levels of service delivery, and of course value for money.
You will be a senior business development and commercial candidate ready to take on a challenging role where you will be able to drive the business forward, not only through day-to-day financial acumen and control, but also in terms of increased client growth and organizational reach. You will be instrumental in supporting the team to make important business decisions to increase profit margins and additional revenue streams in the future.
The ideal candidate for this role will be strong, dynamic and flexible to be an integral part of the successful brand development of our clients in the region. You will be the one who is active and able to demonstrate sound business awareness in making positive and profitable business decisions. Therefore, you will show strong leadership qualities and personal strength in addition to any financial qualifications. Those who hold ACA, CIMA or ACCA qualifications and have a proven career in business strategy, preferably in a similar creative industry, are exceptionally useful.
