Security Manager – Raffles & Fairmont Doha

Guest quality and operational excellence

Ensure that guest preferences and requests are met to the best of the property’s capabilities.
Be present in the day-to-day operations of overseeing the success of the guest and colleague experience, including daily quality assessment reviews.

Ensure that guest preferences and requests are met to the best of the property’s capabilities.
– Periodic meetings and management meetings for colleagues in each department including regular updates, motivation and recognition.
– Attending briefings to communicate with the daily security meeting to understand what is happening inside the hotel.
Ensure that the security team maintains a positive relationship internally and with other departments in the hotel.
Effective organization of onboarding all new Accor employees and comprehensive training of all colleagues in all applicable positions and aspects of job assignments.
Assist with recruitment, development, training and recognition programs for all team members.
Conduct expected performance reviews of all colleagues who report to this position in accordance with Accor’s annual cycles. This includes performance management for any disciplinary concerns.
Understand and adhere to the Accor Code of Ethics.

Health, hygiene and safety

Ensure that guest preferences and requests are met to the best of the property’s capabilities.
Follow and ensure that all associates follow all property safety procedures and practices; lead by example.
Maintain peak A/C of the facility at all times through cleanliness and hygiene.
Ensure guest/member satisfaction at all times by ensuring that safety and service is always the number one priority for security.
Assist in developing and complying with all departmental emergency procedures.
Ensure that all potential and actual risks are reported as well as promptly rectified.
Ensure the safety of people and property of everyone inside the building through fair presentation
Hotel regulations and strict adherence to existing laws.
Dealing with emergency situations with urgency and caution.

Profile personly

Knowledge and experience

Diploma in Security Management.
– Must be a registered security officer with the PLRD and hold a valid security license issued by the PLRD.
– Certified in first aid, CPR and AED
CERT member certified according to SCDF guidelines.
Excellent investigative and report writing skills.
At least 5 years of relevant experience in the hotel industry or work experience in the military or police force or 5 years of experience as an assistant security manager or security manager.

Competencies

Oral and written fluency in the English language. The ability to speak other languages ​​is an advantage.
Good interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of employees.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word) will be an advantage.
