Manama, October 15 (BNA) The Chairman of the Sustainable Energy Authority, Dr. Abdul-Hussein bin Ali Mirza, expressed his thanks and gratitude to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa for issuing Royal Decree No. 107 of 2021 approving the Kingdom’s accession to the framework. He said that the issuance of the royal order also comes as a result of the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, and the follow-up of legal and legislative procedures.
Dr. Mirza said that the issuance of the royal order reflects the government’s keenness to enhance Bahrain’s position among developed countries, encourage the use of renewable energy and benefit from clean energy sources to protect the environment, preserve natural resources and reduce carbon emissions. .
The India-based International Solar Alliance (ISA), which includes sunny countries, mainly aims to promote efficient consumption of solar energy to meet their renewable energy needs.
