Manama, Dec. 26 (BNA): The Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for Women, Hala Al-Ansari, received here today Karima Muhammad Al-Abbasi and congratulated her on her appointment as Secretary-General of the Shura Council.
Al-Ansari praised the efforts of the General Secretariat of the Shura Council in supporting the advancement of Bahraini women, praising the role of the Shura Council in implementing the national gender balance model in Bahrain.
Al Abbasi affirmed the keenness of the Shura Council, led by Ali bin Salal Saleh, to strengthen cooperation with the Supreme Council for Women with the coordination committee between the two sides, in implementation of the decision of Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa.
