Manama, Dec. 8 (BNA): The Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for Women, Hala Muhammad Al-Ansari, received the newly appointed Minister of Youth Affairs, Rawan bint Najeeb Al-Tawfiqi.
The Secretary General wished the Minister success in her duties and contributions to the development of Bahraini youth.
The meeting discussed issues and areas of common interest related to the national plan for the advancement of Bahraini women, and projects and initiatives related to equal opportunities included in the ministry’s action plan.
Tawfiqi thanked the Supreme Council for Women, headed by Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, wife of His Majesty the King, and praised the role of the Council and its work on women’s development and empowering young Bahraini women to participate in the country’s march.
