SCW Secretary General receives Assistant President of Sultan Qaboos University

Manama, December 6 (BNA) The Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for Women, Hala Al-Ansari, received today the Assistant President of Sultan Qaboos University for International Cooperation, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Children’s First Association, Her Highness. Dr.. Mona bint Fahd Al-Saeed.

They discussed the exchange of experiences between the two countries and the best practices that support the advancement of women and their family stability.

Al-Ansari praised the efforts of the Sultanate of Oman to upgrade the education system in light of global economic developments.

She praised the Sultanate’s sponsorship for the advancement of women by laying the legal and legislative foundations to support their full and equal participation in all fields.

For her part, Her Excellency Dr. Mona bint Fahd Al Said praised the Bahraini experience in supporting women and enhancing their contribution to national growth. She praised the Kingdom’s achievements in supporting women, especially in the field of educational and scientific research.
