SCH President patronises graduation ceremony

Manama, Sept. 12 (BNA): A batch of government hospitals’ cadres enrolled have graduated after enrolling in the Intensive Medical Coding Program, supported by the Supreme Council for Health (SCH).

SCH President Lieutenant-General Dr. Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdulla Al Khalifa patronized the graduation ceremony, which was attended by Government Hospitals Chief Executive Officer Dr. Ahmed Mohammed Al Ansari and other officials.

Addressing the ceremony, Dr. Shaikh Mohammed paid tribute to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa for his support to the royal sector.

He hailed the follow-up of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister through the provision of training programmes.

He noted the pivotal role of government hospitals, especially the Salmaniya Medical Complex, which is a cornerstone of health treatment in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

He stressed the importance of developing medical coding in government hospitals in line with the research and statistical needs of Bahrain, taking into account demographic characteristics and the nature of diseases prevalent in society, which helps decision-makers.

Dr. Al Ansari expressed thanks and gratitude to Dr. Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, and Shaikh Hisham bin Abdulaziz Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Governmental Hospitals, for their continuous support.
