Manama, May 30 (BNA) Muharraq Governor Salman bin Isa bin Hindi Al-Mannai hosted today the weekly council of the governorate, in the presence of the Chairman of the Supreme Council of Health, Lieutenant-General Dr. Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Khalifa. .

He pointed out that the recently launched development projects will contribute to creating a mechanism for early detection of diseases, including genetic diseases and their timely treatment, especially after the establishment of the unified electronic medical record that will serve as a database available to the family. The Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Primary Health Care, Dr. Abdulwahab Mohammed, said that Bahrain prides itself on high-quality health services and outstanding primary health care, welcoming cooperation with citizens to identify their needs and observations.

Chief Executive Officer of Primary Health Care Centers, Dr. Jalila Al-Sayed Jawad, confirmed that Bahrain has invested in the health sector in order to provide the best services to citizens, noting that Muharraq Governorate will be a pioneer in implementing the autonomy system in health centers and the “Choose Your Doctor” program.

The Secretary-General of the Fund, Ibrahim Ali Al-Nawakhdeh, stressed the importance of raising awareness, pointing to the council’s role in creating partnerships with parents and civil society institutions.
