SCH Chairman visits BIBF

Manama, March 26 (BNA) The Chairman of the Supreme Council of Health, Lieutenant-General Dr. Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, discussed with the Director General of the Bahrain Institute for Banking and Financial Studies, Dr. Ahmed Abdel Hamid. Sheikh, the two sides cooperated in the field of training and developing human resources, especially in the health sector.

This came during a visit by the Chairman of the Supreme Council of Health to the Bahrain Institute for Banking and Financial Studies. He was accompanied by senior officials in the health sector to discuss issues of common interest. He was received by Dr. Ahmed Al-Sheikh and a number of the Institute’s employees.

Lieutenant-General Dr. Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Khalifa praised the Institute’s role in training and qualifying specialized cadres to advance the comprehensive development process in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

The Director General of the Institute gave a briefing on the Institute’s programs and initiatives that were launched to encourage national cadres to benefit from them. He praised the institute as an advanced educational edifice, stressing keenness to strengthen cooperation with it to enhance administrative and leadership competencies and enhance competitiveness in providing health services.

The Director General of the Institute expressed his happiness with this visit, which helped to discuss joint cooperation to develop the skills of national cadres, especially in the health sector.
