SCH Chairman, Health Minister visit King Hamad-American Mission Hospital

Manama, March 30 (BNA): The Chairman of the Supreme Council of Health, Lieutenant-General Dr. Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, and the Minister of Health, Faeq bint Saeed Al-Saleh, paid a field visit to His Majesty King Hamad today. – The American Mission Hospital project in A’ali to assess the progress of work in the hospital, which is scheduled to open at the end of this year. They were accompanied by the CEO of the National Health Regulatory Authority, Dr. Mariam Al-Jalahma, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health, Dr. Walid Al-Mina, and the Secretary-General of Health Ibrahim Al-Nokhatha.

The Chief Medical Officer and CEO of the American Mission Hospital in Bahrain, Dr. George Sherian, gave a briefing on the progress made in the project, which is considered one of the main contributors to supporting the health sector in the Kingdom of Bahrain. The modern hospital will improve the medical services provided to the Bahraini community.

The Chairman of the Council praised the vital project, which embodies the visions of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister. He also praised the role of the American Mission Hospital in providing the best medical services in Bahrain.

The Minister of Health praised the new advanced project, which aims to provide world-class medical services and achieve the aspirations of His Majesty the King to further develop the medical sector and improve health services.

Dr. George Cherian expressed his deep thanks and appreciation to the President of the Council and the Minister of Health for the support provided by the government to the American Mission Hospital.

It is worth noting that the King Hamad Missionary Hospital of America will be the first environmentally friendly hospital powered by solar energy in the Kingdom of Bahrain. It will also be the first hospital with a hybrid operating system to use robotics on a larger scale. With many facilities, the hospital will provide a wide range of medical services.
