Saudia Airlines marks 70th anniversary in Bahrain

Manama, October 4 (BNA) Saudi Arabian Airlines (Saudia), the national carrier of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, celebrated the 70th anniversary of its flights to Bahrain.

In celebration of the platinum anniversary, Saudia operated special flights from Bahrain to Saudi Arabia where guests were invited to celebrate in the airport lounge and on board. It was presented with souvenirs.

The ceremony was attended by Ayman Zainal, Bahrain Airport Company (BAC), Saudi Gulf and Yemen, and Director of Iran Operations Bandar Al-Fawzan.

“Bahrain continues to be a success story for Saudi Arabia,” Al Fozan said. “Feedback from our Bahraini guests tells us that they value our first class onboard service and seamless flight connections to Saudi Arabia and beyond.”

“Saudi Arabia is always keen to offer exceptional sales offers to and from Bahrain during the Saudi seasons, to allow the opportunity to enjoy various events and activities.”

To celebrate this achievement, Saudia is offering special fares starting at 70 BD for guests who book flights from Bahrain to Jeddah or Riyadh before October 14 for travel before March 31, 2023.

In 2022, Saudi Arabia carried more than 45,000 guests from Bahrain on nearly 700 flights. The Bahrain and Saudi Arabia routes are served by a fleet of modern Airbus A320 and A321 aircraft.

‘Saudi Arabia’ connects its guests from Bahrain to more than 90 destinations around the world through its state-of-the-art hub at King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah and other major stations across the Kingdom.

The airlines affirmed their commitment to providing world-class services and launching new routes to bring the world to Saudi Arabia as part of the “Wings of Vision 2030”.
