Manama, September 14 (BNA) Minister of Transport and Communications, Mohammed bin Thamer Al Kaabi, praised the great turnout for participation in the Bahrain International Airshow 2022 (BIAS2022), which is being held under the patronage of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. This success comes as a result of the efforts of the Higher Organizing Committee of the exhibition headed by His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the personal representative of His Majesty the King, and the Bahrain International Airshow’s work team at the Ministry, in cooperation with the Bahraini Royal. The minister said that the efforts succeeded in attracting the leading companies in the aviation sector, when he received Fahd Al-Abdul Karim, Vice President of the Industrial Services Authority at Saudi Aramco, and Jamal Al-Khudair, Director of Governmental Affairs at Saudi Aramco.
The meeting reviewed Aramco’s preparations to participate as a gold sponsor for BIAS 2022 and its pavilion in the aviation sector, which displays helicopters and jets owned by the company.
He stressed that the participation of Gulf and international companies in the exhibition confirms their important role in supporting international initiatives and events organized and hosted by Bahrain, which reflects the importance of attracting visitors to the Kingdom and enhancing its regional and global position.
The Vice President of Aramco expressed his happiness to participate in BIAS 2022, which highlights the latest developments in the aviation sector.
He said that BIAS 2022 is an ideal platform for exchanging ideas, identifying best practices and keeping pace with the rapid developments in the aviation sector, which is one of the most global sectors that plays a pivotal role in supporting economies, as it represents an interconnected global network. .
