Saudi Arabia SAMI, Airbus Helicopter sign agreement

Farnborough, July 19 (BNA) The Saudi Arabian Military Industries (SAMI) has signed an agreement with Airbus Helicopters Arabia.

The Saudi Press Agency stated that Airbus Global’s arm in the Middle East and North Africa aims to build its technical capabilities in the field of helicopters.



The CEO of the Saudi Arabian Military Industries Company, Walid bin Abdul Majeed Abu Khaled, stressed the importance of the agreement in supporting the efforts of the Saudi Arabian Military Industries Company in the field of technology and the localization of human capital through intensive training.



Michael Bertrand, CEO of Airbus Helicopters Arabia, praised this cooperation and confirmed the company’s commitment to transfer helicopter technology to the Saudi defense system.
