Samsung expands energy-saving Bespoke home productsBusiness

Seoul, March 21 (BNA): Samsung Electronics Co. has unveiled more energy-efficient, AI-powered home appliances for this year, and seeks to take its standards of smart home living to another level.

The South Korean tech giant showed off its latest range of luxury home appliances, Bespoke Life, an upgraded version of Bespoke Home, with better customized and customizable appliances powered by its SmartThings home automation app.

The company said its current Bespoke lineup will be expanded to 27 products in total by the second half and they will all be wifi-enabled, according to Yonhap.

The South Korean tech giant has been collaborating with American outdoor gear and apparel brand Patagonia for years to reduce environmental impact on Earth by reducing the release of microplastics from clothing.

Samsung’s fourth-quarter operating profit fell nearly 70 percent from a year ago as the global economic slowdown hit sales of the electronics and semiconductors it powers.
