Scope and objectives

The sales manager will manage a range of accounts across selected market segments to maximize revenue to achieve the targets set in the sales and marketing budget.

Basic Responsibilities and Duties

Work with the sales team leadership to achieve budgeted revenue for the market segment as defined in the sales and marketing budget
Drive results by prospecting and securing business with a proactive and consultative sales approach
– Preparing quotations and proposals and presenting them effectively in a timely manner to clients
Conduct field visits, FAM trips, and sales trips as required based on business requirements and proactive goals
Maintain a healthy pipeline at all times ensuring that established revenue targets are met
Provide timely market information and research to the commercial leadership team
– Find, explore and qualify contacts and accounts to drive growth in our portfolio of accounts and hotel databases
– Review direct competition, recommend tactics and strategies to maintain a leading position in the market
Monitor competitor group activities and intelligence sources to identify business sources and anticipate new customers/accounts to outperform fair market share
Develop, direct and share knowledge with the sales team, developing level 5 partners
– Attending weekly sales and revenue meetings
Attend all compulsory training courses as directed by the T&C Department
– “Meet and greet” SAG guests access, accurately record Delphi accounts, contacts and activities
Maintain and maintain an accurate and up-to-date CRM database
Learn and approve all standard operating procedures and training related to the role and any initiatives or programs being implemented
