As a Sales Manager, you are responsible for developing and enhancing the business through proactive direct sales, marketing, telemarketing, direct mail, appointment calls and hotel tours. He also develops strategic business plans for hotels to generate measurable incremental sales revenue.

– Meet sales targets on a monthly, quarterly and yearly basis
Solicit collective, corporate, governmental and banquet business by preparing and implementing a business plan
Create quotes based on negotiated agreements and group pricing strategy, confirmed under written contracts
– Manage RFP inquiries through Lanyon, Cvent and Meeting Broker . platforms
– Participation in trade fairs, conferences and promotional events within hotels and trade-related organizations
– Maintain accounts, contacts, activity and business details within Anais
Work closely with the Catering and Conference Services Department to ensure that all contract details are delivered and guests leave satisfied
– Preparing weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports as needed
Balance operational and administrative needs with those of colleagues
Follow departmental policies and procedures
– Other duties as assigned

Qualifications and requirements:

Previous hotel experience is required.
Experience in hotel sales and liaison with government agencies, DMC accounts and local and international companies required.
– Communications established in Jebel Ali are required.
Computer knowledge in Microsoft Window applications and/or related computer applications required.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal required.
Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities.
– High degree of accountability and dependability.
The ability to focus attention on the guest’s needs, and remain calm and polite at all times.
