Join our global team for an exciting career full of opportunities to provide port and ship agency solutions. The Port Agency offers a wide range of ship agencies and marine logistics services through a network of 4,500 marine professionals in 2,200 ports.
Our sales team is responsible for selling these services and solutions to ship owners, managers, merchants and charterers worldwide.
We are looking for a new commercial executive to develop our port agency portfolio by managing and securing new business from existing clients while developing new client capabilities.
The aspirant will be responsible for promoting our global services to ship owners, managers, merchants and charterers as well as supporting country and regional initiatives.
You will work in close collaboration with the Key Account team and the country and regional management teams
Main tasks:
• Manage assigned customer portfolio account as per set of KPIs
• Actively seek expansion of customer portfolio to achieve sales targets
• Be part of the global team of the client group that delivers the global strategy
• Secure multi-level entry points within the client organization
• Responsible for credit collection and credit risk management for clients’ portfolio
• Housekeeping and adherence to all delegated KPIs through Salesforce CRM
• This job entails regular face-to-face meetings with clients, virtual meetings, credit follow-up, and business travels
salary:
10,000 to 14,000 dirhams per month, including fixed allowances.
qualifications:
• GCC nationals with a bachelor’s degree or equivalent with proven business development experience within the United Arab Emirates are preferred
• Preferably have business development experience in the marine, offshore, hospitality or allied services industries
• Self-motivated ambition with a can-do attitude and business mindset
• Highly organized and results oriented to succeed in a highly competitive services market
• Multilingual proficiency in Arabic, English and MS Office with excellent communication skills (written and spoken)
• High proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Pivot table, PowerPoint) and Sales CRM systems – Salesforce
• Fun and playful personality
• Arabic speakers that originated in the UAE with a valid D/L preference
