What will you do:
Reporting to the Sales Manager, the primary job responsibilities and functions include but are not limited to the following:
Team player to enhance existing sales efforts by providing administrative support to management
An individual who enjoys generating leads and helps convert to sales, consistently makes cold calls
– Strongly follow up on new accounts on a weekly basis, spending minimal time in the office
Maintain consistent verbal and written communication with clients
– Make on-site and field presentations to potential clients, attend trade fairs and participate in lightning sales campaigns
Consistently achieve or exceed sales targets
Attend all required briefings/meetings as required by DOS/GM
– Gathers relevant accurate information and analyzes it to get better results
Work effectively with rooms, recreation, food, beverage and banquet departments
– Participation in the local community for business development
– Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
Instilling a calm and orderly approach in all situations
– Demonstrate team building experience
Ability to quickly assess alternatives and decide on a plan of action
– Adhere to company standards and policies
Analyzing financial information to aid decision making
– Preparing and implementing the sales action plan according to the specified dates
Ensure professional effectiveness in planning and executing sales and business plans
– Due to the nature of the work, the employee may be required to work with different schedules and hours to reflect the business needs of the hotel
The employee may be required and agree to perform additional duties as required by the workload and as determined by his superiors
Your experience and skills include:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with a concentration in Marketing, Promotions, Advertising Sales, or Business Administration preferred
– At least one year experience in industry sales
– Familiar with Microsoft Office – Excel, Power Point, Outlook
– Possesses good communication, leadership and organizational skills
– Proficiency in English
