Royals join cast of new Bond film for glitzy London premiere

London, September 29 (US): Members of the royal family joined Daniel Craig, Lea Seydoux and the cast of “No Time To Die” on the red carpet for the world premiere of the new Bond film on Tuesday, a glittering event that saw the film’s release after several times. The delay caused by the epidemic.

The film, the 25th in the long-running series and Craig’s last outing as 007, was initially scheduled for release in April 2020.

Craig, who appeared to the red carpet at the Royal Albert Hall in a pink dinner jacket, told reporters how relieved he was for the film finally making its way to movie theaters, The Associated Press reported.

A year ago, this was just a dream. It doesn’t look like we’ll get here. But we have, and I’m glad we’re here and we can celebrate with everyone.”

Seydoux echoed the relief, saying, “It’s been a crazy time for all of us. And now to celebrate, you know, with this movie, a reunion. And that’s great. I’m really happy.”

Craig, 53, has played the cute secret agent in five films, starting with “Casino Royale” in 2006.

When asked how he felt about his bidding farewell to the role, he said, “I’m fine. I’m really good at it.” As for who would be his successor, he said sarcastically: “It’s not my problem.”

Prince Charles and his wife Camilla, Prince William and his wife Kate, Duchess of Cambridge made rare appearances at the premiere, and Kate stole the show in a sparkly gold dress by designer Jenny Packham.
