Manama, Apr. 10 (BNA): Parliament Speaker Ahmed bin Salman Al-Musallam affirmed the legislative authority’s keenness to continue cooperation with the executive authority to implement the sound royal visions included in the key speech. The speech of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa during the opening of the first session of the sixth legislative term, as a national platform to work for the benefit of the Kingdom and its citizens.
He affirmed that the nation’s main royal speech represents a roadmap for promoting the comprehensive development process, and a basic basis for achieving the Kingdom’s aspirations and goals in political development and economic growth, as well as for developing all tracks that the House of Representatives seeks to achieve. In partnership and active cooperation with the government led by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
He highlighted the tireless and follow-up efforts of His Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister to ensure the completion of plans, programs, projects and initiatives, in line with the government’s action plan and Bahrain’s Economic Vision 2030, towards achieving economic recovery and financial balance.
He pointed out that the unlimited royal support for the House of Representatives is a catalyst for doubling efforts in serving the country and its citizens to achieve a fruitful partnership in the national decision-making process, with sincere patriotic determination, and the spirit of one team adopted by Team Bahrain, with outstanding contributions by Bahraini women, youth, various social sectors and society institutions.
This came in the remarks of the Muslim Speaker of Parliament after receiving His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, who presented him with the Parliament’s response to the royal speech during the opening of the first session of the sixth legislative term.
Al-Musallam expressed his deep pride in the wise foreign policy pursued by the Kingdom, based on the sound approach of His Majesty the King, noting its keenness to strengthen bilateral relations based on mutual respect and achieve security, peace and stability for countries and peoples. In addition to supporting global efforts in facing the effects of climate change, and contributing to achieving environmental balance, sustainability of natural resources and fair access to them.
