Royal order to reconstitute Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs

Manama, June 15 (BNA) His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa issued Royal Decree No. 17 of 2022 restructuring the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs:

Article one

The Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs will be reconstituted under the chairmanship of Sheikh Abdul Rahman bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Khalifa and the membership of:

1. Sheikh Abdul-Hussein Khalaf Al-Asfoor as Vice President

2. Sheikh Dr. Abdul Latif Mahmoud Al Mahmoud

3. His Eminence Sheikh Dr. Farid Yaqoub Al Muftah

4. Sheikh Adnan Abdullah Al-Qattan

5. Sheikh Muhammed Mulla Ahmed Hassan Ali Al-Tablani.

6. Sheikh Mansour Ali Hamadeh

7. Sheikh Muhammad Hassan Abdul-Mahdi Al-Sheikh

8. Sheikh Dr. Suleiman bin Sheikh Mansour Al-Stri

9. Sheikh Jamil Muhammad Ibrahim Hassan Al-Qassab

10- Sheikh Issam Muhammad Ishaq al-Abbasi

11. Sheikh Jawad Abdullah Abbas Hussein

12- Sheikh Muhammad Jaafar Muhammad al-Jufairi

13. Sheikh Rashid Hassan Ahmed Al Buainain

14. His Eminence Sheikh Dr. Ibrahim Rashid Al Muraikhi

15. Sheikh Abdul Rahman Dirar Al Shaer

The term of their membership in the Council is four years.

This order shall be effective from the date of its issuance and shall be published in the Official Gazette.
