Manama, February 8 (BNA): Based on the directives of His Majesty’s Representative for Humanitarian Action and Youth Affairs, His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, to help families affected by the torrential rains, the Royal Humanitarian Foundation provided financial support. to the affected families.
His Highness Sheikh Nasser expressed his thanks and gratitude to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, Honorary President of the Royal Humanitarian Foundation, and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, for their great support to Bahraini families.
His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Rashid Al Maktoum stressed that the Foundation is keen to achieve the visions and aspirations of His Majesty the King and implement his directives in providing all forms of support to citizens.
The Secretary-General of the Healthcare Corporation, Dr. Mustafa Al-Sayed, expressed his deep gratitude to His Majesty King Hamad, His Royal Highness Prince Salman and His Highness Sheikh Nasser for their tremendous support to the families affected by the recent heavy rains.
He said the RHF had set up a link to online applications for support and had received 880 applications.
He added that the relevant committee reviewed the applications submitted based on the standards and requirements of the King Hussein Cancer Foundation.
Al-Sayed commended the efforts of the King Hussein Cancer Foundation and its keenness to review all applications to ensure a fair distribution of funds based on an integrated system and specific criteria and requirements.
He explained that a list of families eligible for assistance has been drawn up and the amounts have been transferred to bank accounts to contribute to addressing some of the damages caused to the homes.
