Royal Endurance Team set for Fontainebleau race

Fontainebleau, October 12 (BNA): Preparations are in full swing for the Royal Bahraini Endurance Team to participate in the International Endurance Race in Fontainebleau, France, which is scheduled to take place this weekend.

The Royal Endurance Team, led by His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Action and Youth Affairs, aims to benefit from the successes he has recently achieved in major European races in which His Highness won four consecutive titles, the title of Royal. The Windsor Horse Show, the Montalcino International Endurance Championship in Italy, the World Endurance Champion in Samorin, Slovakia, and the eight-year-old International Endurance Federation Championship in Spain.

The Royal Endurance Team is due to undergo a vet check on Thursday, ahead of the weekend’s races, including the 160km, 127km and 120km races, the 120km junior race and the 100km race.

The Royal Endurance Team is a major contender for the Fontainebleau Championship, with some of its riders having previously won the title of this prestigious and always fiercely contested event.

In this regard, the director of the Royal Endurance Team, Dr. Khaled Ahmed Hassan, confirmed that His Highness Sheikh Nasser’s leadership of the team will reflect positively on the riders’ performance.

He pointed out that His Highness Sheikh Nasser has always been a source of inspiration for the Bahraini riders, as they gained distinguished experience and skills thanks to their participation in many races alongside His Highness.
