Manama, March 3 (BNA) Minister of Transport and Communications Kamal bin Ahmed Mohammed praised the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to speed up. Follow up the implementation of the King Hamad Causeway project.
He pointed out that the bridge, the second of its kind between the two kingdoms, and part of the Gulf railway network, will enhance strategic, economic, logistical and trade integration between the two countries, as well as achieve economy and development. Visions said.
The 25-kilometer-long bridge will include four vehicular lanes and two railway tracks connecting King Hamad International Station to Dammam International Station in Saudi Arabia.
