An Arab and Islamic country founded by Ahmed Al-Fateh in 1783, on the anniversary of its full membership in the United Nations, and on the anniversary of His Majesty’s accession to power. The gift is a picture of the Kingdom’s map under the title “This is how Bahrain looks from space”, taken by a Russian spacecraft. The Russian astronaut, Sergey Vladimirovich Kud Svirchkov, presented the gift to Bahrain’s ambassador to Russia, Ahmed Abdulrahman Al-Saati, during the embassy’s celebration of the Kingdom’s national holidays. The ambassador expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Russian Federal Space Agency for this valuable gift, appreciating the strength of the Bahraini-Russian friendship and cooperation at all levels, wishing the bilateral relations further progress.
