Duties and Responsibilities: (not listed in any particular order)

• Produce and maintain an effective system for tracking equipment usage, inventory control and required or planned equipment upgrades
• Ensure that all existing operating contracts are upheld, and that the support chain for any hardware/software problems they may encounter is in place and being implemented.
• Provision, in accordance with the company’s reporting systems, with monthly reports allowing effective communication and accurate information related to inventory, procurement and supply of equipment.
• Communicate effectively with both the Field Operations and the Regional Service Supervisor through regular meetings/emails/telephone conversations, updating procedures and releasing information in a timely manner.
• Research/develop and assist with technical feedback from experiences of new technologies and activities in order to increase the local market and stay ahead of the competition.
• Perform maintenance and/or troubleshooting while in the field, communicating any needs arising from these activities through relevant channels to local and regional offices as required.
• Organizing the daily roles and duties of the technical team members as per the site requirements
• Oversees the work of all technicians in the R&M service team, including processes, procedures, paperwork accuracy, safety, etc.
• Reports inventory and asset issues to R&M Supervisor
• Provide Regional Technical Support with all necessary operational reports including failure/non-conformance reports, stock check, and Engineer Visit status reports.
• Ensure the distribution of all necessary documents for optimal equipment connection
• Operating procedures for local administration and field crews.
• These may be in the form of brochures, checklists, procedures etc.
• Verify competency levels of local field staff with regard to equipment operation and maintenance, recommend training, and ensure staff performance evaluations.
• Identify and report potential employee problems and anomalies in the system.
• Assist in updating training and experience records, etc. Coordination with the Regional Technical Support Supervisor.
• Ensure that the highest quality assurance standards are applied to the installation and maintenance of equipment.
• Ensure that these standards are maintained through all aspects of the operation, from refurbishment and restocking to routine maintenance and repair
• Knowing and understanding Weatherford’s Quality Policy and complying with all requirements of the Quality Systems Manual, operating procedures, technical and workplace instructions
• Understand and comply with all Weatherford safety rules and policies

• Minimum 3-4 years experience
• High school diploma (or high school diploma or equivalent) as a minimum.
• 2 years university degree preferred
