RHF signs memo with Foreign Economic Relations Board of Turkiye

Ankara, March 22 (BNA): The Secretary-General of the Royal Humanitarian Foundation and the CEO of the National Committee for Supporting Victims in Syria and Turkey, Dr. Mustafa Al-Sayed, signed a memorandum of understanding with a member of the Foreign Economic Relations Council of Turkey (DEiK), the head of the Turkish side in the Bahraini-Turkish Business Council, Bilgun Gurkan .

Dr. Al-Sayed reviewed opportunities for cooperation between the King Hussein Cancer Foundation and the Bahraini-Turkish Business Council in supporting humanitarian work, in implementation of the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to support earthquake victims in Turkey.

The Secretary-General of the Health Care Corporation affirmed that the Kingdom of Bahrain provided urgent relief aid to those affected by the earthquake, in line with the directives of His Majesty the King and with the support of the government led by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa. Crown Prince and Prime Minister, and through the King Hussein Cancer Foundation led by His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs. He pointed out that the memorandum is part of the memorandums of understanding signed with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees and the Turkish Red Crescent to continue providing support to the earthquake victims.

Bilgun Gurkan praised Bahrain’s leadership, government and people for the great humanitarian role in supporting the earthquake victims in Turkey. She also praised the leadership of His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa of the King Hussein Cancer Foundation, praising the great humanitarian role played by the Foundation in supporting the earthquake victims.
