RHF receives Islamic Education Society’s contribution to temporary homes project for quake victims in Turkiye

Manama, April 2 (BNA): The Secretary-General of the Royal Humanitarian Foundation, Dr. Mustafa Al-Sayed, received the CEO of the National Committee for Supporting the Victims of the Syria and Turkey Earthquakes at the Foundation’s headquarters. Sheikh Jassim Al-Maawda, Director of the Relief and External Projects Department at the Islamic Education Association and member of the committee.


Sheikh Jassim Al-Maawda presented the contribution of the Islamic Education Society to the temporary homes project, which is supervised by the King Hussein Cancer Foundation, to provide a safe and stable environment for families who lost their homes in the devastating earthquake.


Dr. Mustafa Al-Sayed praised the initiative of the Islamic Education Association and its effective partnership with the King Hussein Cancer Foundation to implement the directives of His Majesty the King to provide support to the earthquake victims in Turkey. He called on all charitable and professional associations to take the initiative, such as the Islamic Education Association, to unite national efforts in supporting earthquake victims in Syria and Turkey.


Sheikh Jassim Al-Maawda expressed his sincere thanks and appreciation to His Majesty the King for his keenness to provide humanitarian aid to the earthquake victims. He also expressed the honor of the Islamic Education Society to work under the leadership of His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa to implement the royal directives.
