RHF participates in International Conference on Orphan Care

Manama, March 2 (BNA): The Director of the Social Welfare Department at the Royal Humanitarian Foundation, Badr Ali Qambar, presented a working paper at the Fourth International Conference on Orphan Care 2023.

The conference came under the title (Methodologies of Employing Social Investment in Arab Orphan Care Institutions… Practices and Success Stories).

This event came under the honorary patronage of the President of the Supreme Council of Health, Lieutenant General Dr. Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa, which was organized by the Regional Network for Social Responsibility in cooperation with the Global Center for Sustainable Development and under the patronage of Her Highness. Chair of Her Highness Princess Al-Jawhara bint Ibrahim Al-Ibrahim for building human capacities in orphan care institutions in Arab countries.

Qambar talked about the experience of the King Hussein Cancer Foundation in social investment and the projects it implements to develop the families of widows and orphans, train and educate them, and transfer them to the stage of entrepreneurship, stressing the strategic goals that the Foundation seeks to achieve in this context.

He was honored with the Scientific Proficiency Award for his continuous participation in working papers at conferences for orphan care.
