what are you going to do
At Chalhoub, creativity is a team effort! Acting as a Retail Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that Store Managers/Managers maximize the commercial performance of their retail stores and deliver an exceptional guest experience. You will also be responsible for creating a bridge between the back office and its network of stores which they control/review on an ongoing basis and implement solutions and corrective actions.
– You will understand brand strategy and cascade within your defined network
In conjunction with marketing, ensure full implementation of marketing and customer experience strategies and programmes
Implementation of brand guidelines taking into account the specifications of each market
Agree on an annual sales calendar with the commercial team
Monitoring discounts and margins to ensure consistent business profitability
– Periodic follow-up of sales figures for each line and available stock (Sell-Out)
-Manage potential shortages, review orders and inform the promotion team of the status
– Recording, monitoring and analyzing market trends and competitor activities
Providing commercial quantitative and qualitative reports using data from market studies and internal regulations
Determine the sales target for each member of the sales team
– Brand P&L management at hand
– Monitor brand performance and send recommendations
Managing organizations’ resources within budget guidelines
Providing prompt, comprehensive and accurate information to keep management appropriately informed of the brands’ financial position
Develop and motivate team members to ensure knowledge transfer and a continuous positive work environment
Monitor the performance of team members and provide formal and informal feedback and evaluation in order to maximize efficiency
What you will need to succeed
4-5 years experience in the fashion market.
Experience in rebranding strong people management skills
– Fluent in English
