RERA signs agreement with UK Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors

Manama, May 24 (BNA) The Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA) has signed a cooperation agreement with the British Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).

The CEO of the Real Estate Regulatory Agency, Sheikh Mohammed bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, sealed the deal with RICS Director of Strategic Partnerships, Neil Shah.

Under the agreement, training courses will be provided for appraisers to enable them to improve the quality of work in the field of real estate valuation.

The CEO of the Real Estate Regulatory Agency, Sheikh Mohammed bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, stressed the importance of the real estate appraisal profession, commercial deals and financing packages offered by local banks.

He said that the real estate appraisal field has the potential to create job opportunities that can attract new graduates due to the attractive financial returns.

The training program includes a mandatory course focusing primarily on RERA standards and regulations
