Manama, Nov. 30 (BNA): The CEO of the Real Estate Regulatory Authority, Shaikh Mohammed bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, affirmed that the distinguished results of Cityscape Bahrain 2022, the largest real estate summit and exhibition in the region, reflect the sound approach adopted by the real estate sector thanks to the visions of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
He pointed out that His Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister had built momentum for the first edition of Cityscape Bahrain, which led to its success in terms of sales, participation and number of visitors.
He added that Cityscape Bahrain 2022, which was among the first three events hosted by the Bahrain International Exhibition in Sakhir, included more than 10,000 properties displayed for huge real estate projects at a value of 967 Bahraini dinars, noting that about 689 properties were sold in just four days at a value of A total of BD 101 million.
Cityscape Bahrain 2022 also witnessed the launch of seven new real estate projects, as well as the signing of many partnership and cooperation agreements.
The Chairman of the Real Estate Regulatory Authority indicated that the Middle East and Africa Proptech Summit was held on the sidelines of Cityscape Bahrain 2022, given the importance of technology in developing the real estate sector.
