Representatives Council holds second meeting

Manama, October 12 (BNA) The House of Representatives held today its second session of the fourth session of the fifth legislative session headed by Parliament Speaker Fawzia bint Abdullah Zainal.

According to Secretary-General Counselor Rachid Bin Najma, the meeting was informed of letters addressed to him by His Highness the Prime Minister regarding decrees, draft laws, the annual report and audited financial statements of the Council of Ministers. Future Generations Reserve Fund, and refer it to the relevant committees.

The meeting also discussed the messages of the Minister of Parliament Affairs regarding 70 proposals submitted by the representatives.

The Council also approved a proposal that was urgently put forward to cancel or move the site of the “Little India Market” event organized by the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities in front of Al-Sahaf Mosque in the capital, Manama, and referred it to the government.
