Manama, April 15 (BNA) The qualifying stage for the award of His Royal Highness Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa for the Qur’an has begun, with the participation of 600 contestants.
Under the patronage of Her Highness Sheikha Lulwa bint Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, the award was organized by Al Noor Charitable Society for the second year in a row.
The organizing committee said that there is fierce competition between the participants, noting that competitions are held every night for 61 contestants after Tarawih prayers through the Teams application.
The committee confirmed that the award jury includes specialists in the sciences of the Noble Qur’an.
The committee expressed its pride in sponsoring the Al-Noor Charitable Society for the second year in a row, noting that the importance of the event stems from the fact that it bears the name of His Royal Highness the late Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa. .
