Public Security Chief receives French delegation

Manama, September 24 (BNA) The Chief of Public Security, Lieutenant-General Tariq bin Hassan Al-Hassan, received a delegation representing the Public Aid Society – Hôpitaux de Paris (AP-HP), in the presence of the Assistant Undersecretary for Human Resources.


Lieutenant General. Al-Hassan praised the joint cooperation with the French side to develop the national ambulance service and enhance the response to medical emergencies in all circumstances and locations.


He praised the directives of the Minister of Interior, Major General Sheikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, to implement strategic plans aimed at enhancing public safety, raising the level of services and rapid response to medical emergencies for patients and injured before entering all public hospitals.


He stressed the importance of benefiting from the French expertise in the field of ambulance service, training doctors and paramedics, and integrating the latest technologies and equipment.


The Ministry of the Interior signed an agreement with Assistance Publique – Hôpitaux de Paris (AP-HP) in 2019 to provide services in the field of national ambulance and urgent medical assistance.
