Faithful + Gould is looking for a Project Manager (Construction) with a PMC background in Oman.

As a senior member of the team, you will provide leadership and management support for your direct reports, promote teamwork within the region and Faithful + Gould in general, provide technical input to project teams and ensure that client objectives are delivered.

responsibilities

The role involves carrying out duties to the highest possible standards. The role is expected to include, but is not limited to, the following key functions:
Ensure successful delivery of the project in terms of progress, quality and budget constraints in terms of cost.
Review and approve MAS/technical documents submitted by the developer to the client and ascertain whether they comply with the project specifications
Monitor project outputs meet agreed standards and meet stakeholder requirements at each stage of the project.
Monitor public relations with project stakeholders and adjust strategies and plans for stakeholder engagement.
Develops and creates policies, procedures and documents for planning, developing, managing, implementing and controlling the project schedule, including monitoring project tasks and workflow in order to complete the project on schedule.
– Define and document specific actions including establishing a milestone to be performed to produce project deliverables.
Develops and implements policies, procedures and documents for planning, managing, spending and controlling project costs.
– Identify issues affecting the project and manage them by resolving them.
Monitor project expenditures on products and services to ensure project objectives are within the agreed budget.
Develop a robust change control system by establishing a project baseline and identifying, reviewing, approving and monitoring proposed changes in project scope.
Selecting project team members, clarifying roles, providing feedback and motivating high performance.
Develop detailed specifications based on the design guide provided to the developer.

Skills and Attributes

You must be equipped to:
Manage and coordinate the input of project stakeholders and the assigned contractor to ensure successful delivery of the project.
Evaluate and solve site planning and coordination problems.
Apply the principles and processes of quality management.
Apply the principles and processes of risk assessment and management.
Communicate effectively, negotiate well and influence people, and mediate relationships with stakeholders on and off the project.
Be aware of the broader perspective and how it affects the project.

Minimum Requirements

The minimum requirements for this role include:
Bachelor’s degree in a related project and/or discipline.
– 15 years post qualification experience in project management.
Good experience in supervising the construction of complex projects similar in size and nature to ours.
At least four specific experiences in supervising large office buildings.
Middle East experience required (Oman experience preferred).
