WSP is looking to appoint a Project Coordinator for a large project in Kuwait.
A normal week includes:
* Manages and handles project deliverables
* Assists in drafting and processing project documents
* Schedules project meetings and events
* General clerical and administrative support for construction related activities
* Administrative support for subcontractor access/badge request processing
* Support the processing of permits required for the successful completion of projects
* Compile and rotate all project files and records for the client
* Keeps all project files and related documents in Aconex
* Follow up on submissions to avoid any delays in the process
* Provide compliance check for all uploaded documents
* Collect data and updates from various sources and provide progress updates, data input, and report production
* Coordinating schedule changes and communicating the impact to senior management and the client
* Use of various software packages, import and export data, and perform data integration
* Make formal presentations and generate reports for management and client.
We would love to hear from you if you have:
* Requires a good level of computer literacy with a minimum of an Associate, Technical Degree or Diploma
* Minimum 5, preferably 10 years of experience as Project Coordinator required
* Good knowledge of the construction industry and project management processes
* Strong computer skills with attention to detail and organizational skills
* Working knowledge of Microsoft’s portfolio of applications, in particular, Microsoft Project but also including Excel and Word
*Prima Vera experience will be beneficial
* Working knowledge of Oracle Aconex
* Good written and verbal communication (English)
* Proven attention to detail and schedules
* Experience in defense projects is an added advantage.
