President of Turkmenistan arrives in Bahrain

Manama, Feb. 21 (BNA): The President of the Republic of Turkmenistan, Mr. Sardar Berdimuhamedov, and the accompanying delegation arrived in the Kingdom of Bahrain today on an official visit.

The President of Turkmenistan is holding talks with His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa on bilateral relations and the long-standing historical friendship between the two friendly countries, in addition to the latest regional and international developments.

His Excellency President Berdymukhamedov was received at Bahrain International Airport, Deputy Prime Minister, His Excellency Shaikh Khalid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Minister of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments, and Head of the Honorary Mission, His Excellency Nawaf bin Muhammad Al-Maawda, Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for the Environment. Chairman and Vice-Chairman of the Supreme Committee of the Rashid Equestrian and Horse Racing Club, His Highness Sheikh Faisal bin Rashid Al Khalifa, Governor of Muharraq, Bahrain’s Ambassador to the Republic of Turkmenistan and other officials.
