Role description

The pre-sales specialist has advanced knowledge of SAP and partner software solutions and participates in sales cycles as a member of the virtual account team to support the sales account strategy. The pre-sales specialist interacts with potential customers through discovery talks, product solution presentations, executive presentations, and follow-up discussions.

Support the deal

Compose and deliver high-quality sales presentations covering SAP and partner software solutions to potential customer audiences. Presentations should illustrate the sales message, distinguish SAP, and make a strong and positive impression on an audience that can include the company’s top executives.
-Prepare and deliver value-based software proposals/proposals to support sales cycles. The preparation includes personalizing the materials to ensure a simple, attractive and persuasive presentation to the clients.
Prior to the main demo or presentation, conduct discovery sessions with representatives of the potential client in order to build relationships with the client and understand their unique needs.
Demonstrate deep knowledge of SAP solutions and appropriate industries in order to maintain credibility with potential clients. Provide proof points with relevant customer stories.
Support RFx completion to support customer proposals.
Ability to effectively present clients “remotely” using virtual technologies (SAP Virtual Studio and Adobe Connect).
Provide limited after sales support to key clients primarily to the project/implementation team to ensure a smooth transition.

work experience

2+ years of pre-sales experience
2-5 years of Solutions Specialist (or equivalent client) experience in relevant areas of the job
Demonstrates 3-4 successful posts that lead small teams into small to medium-sized deals
Extensive knowledge/experience in matching processes/solutions from start to finish
– Experience in sales and sales operations
– Excellent presentation and communication skills

Education and qualification / skills and competencies

– Proficient in English
Business-level local language: expert
Bachelor’s Degree Equivalent: Minimum Requirements
– MA Equivalency: Optional
