Manama, October 16 (BNA) The Minister of Municipal Affairs and Agriculture, Wael bin Nasser Al Mubarak, received the CEO of the Bahrain International Circuit, Sheikh Salman bin Isa Al Khalifa.
The meeting was attended by Undersecretary of the Ministry Sheikh Mohammed bin Ahmed Al Khalifa.
The meeting will discuss the circuit’s preparations to host the Formula 1 race.
The Minister praised the role of the Bahrain International Center in serving sports and enhancing Bahrain’s achievements and its reputation regionally and internationally.
He expressed the ministry’s readiness to cooperate with the Bahrain International Center to provide all necessary support to host various sporting events, including Formula 1.
Sheikh Salman expressed his appreciation for the ministry’s efforts to coordinate in the upcoming F1.
