Riyadh, June 8 (BNA): Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Political Affairs, Dr. Shaikh Abdullah bin Ahmed Al Khalifa met with Robert Oliphant, Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Canada, on the sidelines of the meeting. Ministerial meeting of the international coalition against Daesh.
During the meeting, they reviewed the Bahraini-Canadian relations, bilateral political and economic cooperation, and ways to develop them in various sectors.
The meeting also discussed a number of regional and international issues within the framework of the two countries’ keenness to support the efforts of the international community in combating extremism and terrorism, and to consolidate security, stability and peace in the region and the world.
