Pogba to miss ‘several’ matches for Man United after injury

Manchester, November 10 (BUS): Paul Pogba has been appointed to an extended period of duty after being injured on international duty with France this week, the Associated Press reports.

The English club announced on Wednesday that the midfielder is expected to miss “several upcoming matches” for Manchester United, which could rule him out from the last two Champions League group stage matches and his encounters with Chelsea and Arsenal in the Premier League.

Pogba had already been left out of France’s World Cup qualifiers against Kazakhstan and Finland next week, as the world champions look to snatch their place in next year’s tournament.

Pogba suffered an injury to his right thigh on Monday, apparently when he hit the target in training.

United said Pogba was undergoing “treatment and further assessment” in Manchester.
