Planning engineer to manage the allocation of planning resources, formulation of reporting structure and implementation of planning methodology across all projects. Basic job functions
• Develop a baseline program with the most appropriate methods and logical sequences for the entire project scope, in conjunction with the Project Manager, in order to ensure that the project is scheduled to complete the scope on time and budget.
• Planning and monitoring of the project life cycle, including preparation of schedules, work breakdown structures, method statements, progress reports through S curves, graphs and cash flow curves
• Ensure the issuance of the schedule of loading labor resources within the allowed budget. Set procurement schedules in line with project deliverables.
• Manage staff activities assigned to planning and cost control.
• Establishing project performance metrics, defining performance objectives and reporting requirements, with reference to senior management
• Coordinate with all stakeholders including consultant, major contractors, subcontractors, clients, other disciplines and project implementation teams and ensure timelines are adhered to.
• Identify delays, project risks, critical path and areas of concern and provide corrective measures to achieve milestones. Coordinate with PQS and issue overdue notice, extension of time (EOT) and acceleration of progress claims, change management
• Technical Bidding – Gather scope information with estimating engineers and establish technical bidding schedules including method and program statement. Ensure staging and buildability with respect to contract parameters.

• Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate discipline
• Minimum 5 years experience in planning management
• Knowledge in Microsoft Office, Primavera P6, MS Project and Oracle/Procore systems.
• Good in communication and project correspondence skills
