Support building design project management, particularly with regard to schedule and cost control
Provide support in the development of project management plans, including schedule baselines, project scope baselines, work hour estimates and budgets, as needed
Develops scope baseline, detailed work breakdown structures, project activities, and critical path diagrams for building design projects, in coordination with relevant project managers
Work closely with the Senior Planning Engineer and Project Managers in monitoring and managing project schedules, implementing adjustments to scheduling baselines, as needed
Work to manage changes in project scope, potential risks and contingency plans, as needed
Track preparation and billing for K&A deliveries, in coordination with local finance teams, as needed
Preparing periodic project progress reports for building design projects, and stating key issues, as needed
Liaise with the Architecture and Planning Project Controller to provide ongoing project information, as needed, in coordination with relevant Project Managers
Job Qualifications
– Bachelor’s degree in architecture or engineering
3+ years of experience in construction and architectural design, particularly in a design project planning function
Proven experience and track record in planning design projects, including schedule control and cost control
Proven experience using project management software (eg Primavera)
Knowledge of building and architectural design
– Knowledge of SAP is an added advantage
Strong analytical and problem solving capabilities
– Good Communication Skills
– Good interpersonal skills
– Fluency in both Arabic and English, both spoken and written
