Manama, June 3 (BNA) The Minister of Works, Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning Issam bin Abdullah Khalaf said that the strategic plan developed aims to strengthen the professional management of projects in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
He stressed the years-long efforts to train engineers in order to obtain professional certificates in project management, in cooperation with international specialized institutes.
This came during his meeting with a number of the ministry’s employees who obtained the Project Management Professional Certificate (PMP) issued by the Project Management Institute (PMI) based in the United States of America and supervised by it.
The Minister congratulated the engineers on their achievements and praised the Bahraini competencies, stressing the government’s keenness to hone human resources skills, which represent the driving force for national development.
